AC and DC- What's the difference? Which one is more dangerous?

Ans: There are two types of electric currents that we use in our daily lives. AC & DC.
AC or alternating current is a fluctuating current between a positive & negative value. AC is supplied in our house. It is supplied at different frequencies in different countries. In India, AC frequency is 50 Hz.

DC or direct current does not change with time both in magnitude or direction.  Dry Cells etc produce DC current. Most of home appliances run on DC.

Which is more dangerous- AC or DC…!
AC current constantly changes its values from positive to negative which means you gain back control for a tiny fraction of time in between the cycles and can get yourself out of contact.
In DC, there is no change in the signal, which means once a DC type current start flowing through you your muscles you cannot get away from it.
So, DC is more dangerous than AC if of equalmagnitude. But, the DC used in home appliances is usually of smaller magnitudes but AC is quite high voltage and amperage. So, AC is more dangerous.
